I am so happy I found Bear State Goldens. We are a family of 4 in Southern California and I was looking for a very specific older golden retriever puppy, so when I saw Penelope listed as a trained 7 month old golden, she seemed like the perfect fit. We feel so lucky to have been chosen to adopt sweet Penelope (now Kaia). When we brought her home, you could tell she was extremely well taken care of and loved. She was well groomed, well behaved, showed impressive manners and was exactly as Arianna described. Arianna was wonderful to work with, showed excellent knowledge of the breed and always had thoughtful responses to the million questions that I had. Even now after having Kaia a month, I know I can reach out to Arianna and she will kindly answer any questions that I have. Kaia has fit in great with our family. My two boys (ages 3&5) see her as a sibling and have so much fun together at the park and romping around in the yard. She is honestly the sweetest dog we've ever met and can’t wait to share many future adventures together. I would highly recommend buying a dog from Bear State Goldens and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I purchased my golden retriever, Brandy, from Bear State Goldens about 2 years ago. Before picking up my pup, Arianna did a great job of communicating which stage the puppies were in and sent pictures on a weekly basis. Throughout the adoption process and after bringing Brandy home, Arianna has been a great resource for advice and questions. She has shown that she cares greatly for the health and wellbeing of the dogs from their program. Brandy is very smart dog and has a very happy temperament. She embodies all of the qualities I was looking for when purchasing a golden and I would gladly purchase another pup from Bear State Goldens.

Bear State Goldens made the experience of purchasing a puppy smooth. It being my first experience of purchasing a dog online, they were able to make me feel comfortable and secure. There was constant updates and communication between them and I. They were also very willing to answer any questions or accommodate our requests. I also appreciated the transparency with regarding the puppy’s health. Bullseye, now renamed River, has been a great addition to our family. His personality fits right in and his cuteness is a great combination of both his parents. He is a healthy male who is willing to join us on adventures, but also doesn’t mind being a homebody. We are grateful with Bear State Goldens for their trust in us. We really do recommend them to anyone looking to integrate a furry pal into their lives.
