Stud Service

All of our stud dogs are proven and at stud to approved females.

Requirements:
Proof of Brucellosis test is required within 30 days prior to stud service for live cover. Full AKC registration required. Hip, Elbow, Eye and Heart Health clearances required at minimum. Cytology and culture strongly encouraged to confirm fertility. Frequent progesterone testing is strongly encouraged however at least one is required for Live Cover to ensure that timing is correct. Must be on some form of Flea/Tick prevention and parasite free for Live Cover. Must have sound & stable temperament. Must be clean with up to date grooming. The breeder is responsible to keep the stud owner up to date on progesterone numbers, breeding dates and arrange reproductive veterinarian visits whenever necessary. All pet puppies are to be sold on limited registration only. Promising show/performance/breeding prospects or puppies kept back for the breeder’s program may be fully registered but must be hip, elbow, eye, heart health tested prior to breeding. The breeder warrants that they will throughly screen all interested applicants responsibly and only place the puppies into the best loving homes possible. The breeder warrants NOT to sell or give any puppies to commercial breeders, puppy brokers, puppy mills, pet stores, irresponsible breeders, surrendered to rescues or shelters, etc. Stud contract is enforced with consequences. When inquiring; please send a k9data link to pedigree or photo(s) of AKC paperwork, a link or copies of health clearances, brucellosis test status(pending or negative) and 2 photos of your girl.
Payment:
Stud fees are subject to change at any time, please contact us to confirm. The stud fee is due at/just before first live breeding or before first collection. Up to 2 matings or collections included. Zelle, Cash(in person), GoodDog or AppleCash/ApplePay are acceptable forms of payment. We do not accept card directly, money orders or personal checks.
Breeding:
Live Cover may be available, contact for details. Collections for TCI/AI(Side by Side, Chilled Shipped and Frozen) are available. Female may visit or may board with stud for up to 4 nights for Live cover, depending on owner's preference and availability. We can meet at a local vet for the breeding whenever necessary. We have repro vet referrals, if needed. Typically 24-48 hours in between collections or breedings is recommended to allow for some sperm regeneration.
As a complimentary no-charge service, in-house collection and insemination may be available when progesterone numbers are correct.

Each vet collection (including analysis and packaging) is approximately $250 on overage but can go up to $385 depending on vet and teaser availability. Overnight Shipping via FedEx is anywhere from $120+ per shipment.. depending on location, delivery time and the day of shipping. The female owner is responsible for all breeding costs when due. Timing and communication is very important especially when shipping. The female owner must keep us updated on progesterone numbers and the estimated time of insemination. The female owner must pay us directly in full for stud fee + collection fee before the collection appointment and for shipping before shipment is sent. Semen analysis details will be shared with female owner. Tracking details will be sent once confirmed. Frozen is offered at an additional cost, a deposit will be charged by our vet for the shipping container rental and must be returned for the refund. We may consider pick of litter depending on the pairing and pedigree regardless of location as we will cover transportation costs. Feel free to reach out for more details via email.
