At Bear State Goldens we are committed to building relationships and raising confident, happy, socialized AKC Golden Retrievers. We are a very small home-based Breeder located in Orangevale, CA. Our breedings are limited to around 2 litters per year. Our mission is to selectively & carefully breed healthy, high quality, well mannered Golden Retrievers. We follow breed standards, fully PennHIP/OFA health test, Genetically health test and assess temperament before any adults are officially added to our program. We breed for Conformation and Pet Companionship. We currently title our dogs with AKC to prove trainability and show them at International Dog Shows. Additionally, we are considering showing at other exhibitions in the near future! All of our dogs & litters are raised and live inside the comfort of our home in a family environment. We do not operate as a kennel, our dogs are family members and are treated as such!
